Abstract: This is the protocol by which essential XNS services (Authentication and Clearinghouse) are located by client workstations. It is an "interim" protocol, "soon" to be replaced by the new Network Binding protocol; there probably shouldn't be any clients other than the XNS Authentication and Clearinghouse stubs.
