I have started work on three slide templates:
GargoyleSlideTemplate.gargoyle
DocGraphicsSlides.jam
DocGraphicsSlides.tioga
GargoyleSlideTemplate.gargoyle
The Gargoyle template has lots of stuff in it.
To begin, ignore the choice of colors; the backgrounds are light blues/purples that are indicative of the effects. The real colors are quite dark!
The outer rectangle is in fact a frame. If you select the outer trajectory and use the Overlap menu to place it on Top, then you will see the cropped slide image. Please the frame on the Bottom and you will see several helpful lines for aligning things.
The text is as we agreed: 54 point Helvetica bold for the slide title; 40 point Helvetica bold for major points; 32 point Helvetica for minor points. There is a 7-element notched line in the left margin of the frame that will help position text lines. The title area has a 3-element notched line to position either a single line of title or double line of title text. Make the notched lines hot with 0-degree sloped alignment lines.
DocGraphicsSlides.jam
This JaM file is a simplification of the stuff Mik uses. I have made up a slide template slide1 which is not quite finished, but indicates that creating JaM slides will be straightforward.
DocGraphicsSlides.tioga
Maureen suggested a Tioga template for word slides. There is one at the beginning of this file with an appropriate local style defining the formatting.
