Bob Kushner and I worked up a preliminary schedule for producing the SIGGRAPH'87 conference proceedings. Obviously, the goal is the conference dates of July 2731, 1987.
— slides suggestions; 2 copies of slides; color Xerox copy of slide in correct orientation to prevent disagreement about orientation, for example, 1986 hairy brush picture of shrimp is incorrect in slide set but proceedings took the complaints
Bob Kushner schedule of things
Xerox the slides in proper image so there will be no misunderstanding of flop/no-flop; mirror problems; should go to all parties; obtain 2 copies images for cover — one for slide show, one for printer
July 27-31 conference
who is handling incoming material? Kushner to contact Cindy Stark at SBA for information
July 13 at wherehouse in Anaheim
June 29 ship (five-10 days shipping)
June 1 production begins
week of May 20? proofing party, with Steve Levine
May 18-22 camera-ready material to K-Graphics
May 11 pick up material, Kushner flys out to Palo Alto
?? cover from SBA; logos on cover IEEE and ACM only or are European
?? May 7 cover slide images selected; copy for credits for slides
May 4 copy assembled
?? awards copy and photographs (Coons and ... and Hopper award?)
April 30 submission deadline
need primary author addresses for reprint distribution, label form?
