Its goal is to support educators who are prepared, motivated and in a suitable setting to begin or update successful computer graphics courses or programs in any of the many educational areas involving graphics, including the arts, computer science, engineering or applications. This program will provide full participation in the SIGGRAPH conference in Anaheim. This includes the computer graphics education course, two days of technical courses and full technical conference registration. It will also provide educational materials including SIGGRAPH video reviews, slide sets and course notes. The total value of the grant will come to over $1,000. Applications should be postmarked by March 20, 1987 and awards will be announced by June 1. We need to make sure that our coverage of graphics courses is as complete as possible. While anyone listed in the 1985 directory will automatically be contacted for new information, some schools did not respond and many schools have started new computer graphics courses since then. If you teach a course which was not listed in the directory, or if you know anyone else who does, please send the appropriate name and address to Steve Cunningham to ensure that the course will be covered by our survey. Thank you.
