It retro-fits a change to SAVEVM (fixed in the sources three months ago) that trips up RS232 stuff.' ' Incidentally, when I gave out versions of the new RS232 stuff to run on Fugue.6/Carol sysouts, I had only one patch file -- called FUGUE6PATCH. Wouldn''t it make for smoother operation to combine INTPATCH and SAVEVMPATCH as I did with FUGUE6PATCH and basically just have one patch file called, say, {Eris}ReleaseName>PATCHES and .DCOM ?' ' ' There is a separate ''operations'' issue of how the operations staff wants to deliver patches to customers. It might make sense to send out a single file which they generate by merging all of the other files together, or maybe just a single ''patches'' floppy....'
