Simplest solution I currently know of':  If you give (CLEARGET T) as the PROP arg to the function TEDIT, it will bring in the file without formatting info, so you just Put the file.'

I editted my KEY1.CM with editmarks turned on.  This put formatting information into the file and it no longer worked as a cm file.  I got rid of all of the editmark changes but the file still has font information.  Is there anyway of getting a plain text file out?   If not there should be.'
