They were distributed in the November 1983 Fugue Release manual, page 13, and I think we called that to his attention. Those directions are correct, and many others have successfully been able to follow them without extra help.' But they had already printed up the manual (probably someone down there compared the similarities, and chose to call it a "null mode" -- it really is a minor difference).' ' Only thing that I''d recommend is to say something that may forstall any possible confusion about the 1108-to-1108 connection. If should be stressed that' 1) only 1 cable is to be built for this purpose, not two cables (one might think he needs a separate cable for each 1108, and that the two cables would be joined somehow in the middle by another adaptor);' 2) the connector on the other end, for the "other" 1108, must also have Pins 4 and 8 shorted together.'
