Description: TEDIT isn''t using the window package caret handling routines.  When any of my functions in TEDIT.READTABLE call (\GETKEY), my choices seem to be to either live with multitudinous opening TTY windows, or to set TEDIT''s ttydisplaystream to be its own window and live with frozen carets.
