But the TEdit Menu window could not be closed -- fell into a break underneath DOUSERFNS, TEXTMENU.CLOSEFN, TEXTOBJ, \ILLEGAL.ARG. Apparently it was gettting a pointer to a previously closed window, and not liking it.
