There is no working version of MODEM for TENEX (to my knowledge); the MODEM.MAC will not work on TENEX since it has a number of TOPS20-specific monitor calls.'

I notice that this guy is also concerned about the EOL behaviour -- would you like to submit an AR (or ask Thu to do it) that RS232FTP should have a mode to indicate EOL conversions; e.g., coming from some remote site that uses, say, LF for EOL and want to see it converted to, say, CR for EOL.  In the TOPS20 case, it is CRLF at remote site.'
