When (PRINTOUT W ...) is called scrolling is re-enabled. The user needs to be able to permanently disable scrolling.' Date': 12 Apr 84 14':44 PST' From': Burton.pa' Subject': ar 96 - disable scrolling' To': Le.pasa, lispsupport.pa' ' ' I''m not sure I understand this AR. I assume it is about the DSPSCROLL aspect of a window. This aspect is only changed by TTYDISPLAYSTREAM (so that typein is not lost). I have tried (PRINTOUT W ...) to a window with (DSPSCROLL NIL W) (the default by the way) and it does not scroll. Is W being used as the TTYDISPLAYSTREAM of a process? If so, the solution is to not use a different window as the tty or notice when the tty is changed and re-disable scrolling as part of the tty switch. If not, please get a more specific statement of the problem.'
