While I hate to use the word "show-stopper", I''d like to see this one fixed before Harmony. I imagine its a simple one, and NS protocols are so close.....'

Is this one reproducible, by any chance? The usual cause of this error is losing the connection with the remote ns host, i.e., the error ought to be "Stream lost".'

The FILE NOT OPEN {STREAM}#6 problem of 17 Sept went away when we went to a new <lispcore>next>full.sysout. Unfortunately I don''t remember which <lispcore>next>full.sysout had the problem, tho it had to have been one just at/before the date of my message.'
'
It seemed 100% reproducible for me within that sysout. If you think it worth the trouble, and can tell me how to find versions of <lispcore>next>full.sysout that are that old, I can try to reproduce it again.'
'
I have no evidence against the conjecture that the problem was losing the connection with the remote ns host.'

Definitely still happening. Stack context varies slightly, eg under SPP.FORCEOUTPUT under SPP.PUTBYTE ... .'
'
I seem to get it consistently if I''m reading mail or AREditing while the printing is trying to happen.'
