I followed my usual practice of logging out (LOGOUT) and going for dinner.  At LOGOUT time, I had 2 Tedit windows open, one to a file on {DSK} and one to a file on {PHYLUM}.  I renamed the file on {DSK} and typed LISP.  The message "undefined function AFTERCLOSE" was printed and then I was sitting at LISPX in the typescript window.  Most of my processes will still frozen.  The mouse would not work on the background (or on the PSW).  I types (HARDRESET), and this seemed to bring things back to life.  Both of my Tedit''s aborted.'
