I followed my usual practice of logging out (LOGOUT) and going for dinner. At LOGOUT time, I had 2 Tedit windows open, one to a file on {DSK} and one to a file on {PHYLUM}. I renamed the file on {DSK} and typed LISP. The message "undefined function AFTERCLOSE" was printed and then I was sitting at LISPX in the typescript window. Most of my processes will still frozen. The mouse would not work on the background (or on the PSW). I types (HARDRESET), and this seemed to bring things back to life. Both of my Tedit''s aborted.'

It is possible that this lisp image was already braindamaged. Somehow earlier in the day, I had lost some of my tty interrupts (in particular, ↑D).'
