When I say CONN {DSK}, it connects to {DSK}<MASINTER>, but unfortunately, the greeting process expects {DSK}INIT.LISP, no directory. Howcome I can''t CONN to {DSK} alone?'

The DLIONFS device needs to have field NODIRECTORIES set to T, or you need to say CONN {DSK}<>. I believe the current interpretation of NODIRECTORIES is not that the device does not support directories, but that CONN will not force you to have one.'
