Subject: prompt messages are sometimes lost

Lisp Version: 15-Jul-84 23':23':32

Description: i just asked TEdit to get a file, and when i looked back a few seconds later it had the promptforword ''T'' cursor, but the message window said ''.CM;1''. with a little thought i figured out that the file must be a bravo file, and it was prompting me for the name of the user.cm file to use for the conversion! not very nice. When messages or prompts are written to windows like these, much more care should be taken to ensure that they''re readable. Lafite regularly has the same problem.
