Subject': TEDIT': Saving unformatted text'
Is there a way to remove all formatting information from a TEDIT file and save just the bare textual information. I''ve been editing .cm files, and somehow I''ve gotten formatting information appended to the end of them.'

I believe that there is a way to remove all formatting info from a tedit text stream, but I don''t think that a reasonable user interface has been created yet.'
Simplest solution I currently know of': If you give (CLEARGET T) as the PROP arg to the function TEDIT, it will bring in the file without formatting info, so you just Put the file.'

I editted my KEY1.CM with editmarks turned on. This put formatting information into the file and it no longer worked as a cm file. I got rid of all of the editmark changes but the file still has font information. Is there anyway of getting a plain text file out? If not there should be.'
