Disposition:

Description: In Interlisp-D, the generic arithmetic functions PLUS, TIMES, etc. are as efficient as the non-generics IPLUS, ITIMES, etc. and should be stressed in the documentation. It simplifies the users life to only know about one kind of numeric function. This follows the trend of Common Lisp, too, and makes Interlisp seem less retrograde.'
