Just checked this AR today and it hasn''t been edited since 30-June. I''d sure like to see it in Harmony, as I''m sure E-Systems would.'

As far as I can tell, there is no way to put passwords on logical volumes in Mesa/Pilot, and we are striving for compatibility with Mesa/Pilot. Designing a *good* password scheme seems beyond what we can get accomplished for Harmony (where the main goal is a much more *reliable* file system.) '
'
Anybody got any ideas on how to do this? Something simple, even though it was breakable, might be OK. More complex would be to encrypt the data on the disk using the DES chip, etc. '

Thanks for the speedy reply. Something as good as the Dolphin''s Partition password would be acceptable to the customer, I think.'
