Description: '
'
[I think this problem is that Masterscope doesn''t notice a function has ''changed'' until after the editor is exited. That isn''t consistent with what the AR says happened, but perhaps the exact order of events got misrecorded? E.g., if you were STILL IN dedit and touched the window, it wouldn''t redisplay? Otherwise, I don''t have any good ideas]'

LOAD(BROWSER.DCOM)'
. SHOW PATHS FROM ANY ON TPARSE '
(get calling tree ok)'
(middle mouse browser on a fn that has as a descendent "ppe")'
(user dedits the paren problem that caused the ppe and exists from editor)'
(browser window grays out)'
(user bugs browser window to get it to resdisplay)'
(window is redrawn as it was BEFORE the edit session)'
(user again middle mouses the fn. edits the fn by changing a line back to itself. fn is believed to be changed but is, in fact, identical to its state when editor was entered.)'
(user exits editor. window grays out)'
(user bugs window; this time the ppe does not appear)'

Would you please communicate to Roger Beemon of Boeing that AR#1110, "Show Paths display not properly updated", has been fixed, the fix will appear in the Harmony release, and thank him for taking the time to report the problem?'
'
The problem was that buttoning the window wasn''t causing Masterscope to reanalyze the functions which had changed, even though it had greyed out.'
'
Thanks much,'
