When a Dlion is booted without being connected to a network it prompts the user for a pup host number underneath restarting the ether device. John Brown has this trouble at home as do I whenever I demonstrate anywhere. John reports anamolous results when he ↑e''s out. It requires a three digit number to "succeed" but doesn''t mention this as a requirement.'

[bvm': Regarding "It requires a three digit number"--it simply requires a valid pup host number (string of up to three octal digits not exceeding 375Q). The code is indeed not protected against ↑E -- that part should definitely be fixed.]'
