On several occasions, but as yet with uncorrelated circumstances, one or more lines of a tedit window have been blanked out, although tedit clearly thinks there is text there, since it can be copy-selected and the caret positioned inside it.  The text once in a while reappears on scrolling, but usually doesn''t, remaining steadfastly blank.'
