Bill, I find that I often type an interrupt character now and it gets ignored. Did you do anything that would make that happen?'

Don''t think so. There was a bug recently where ↑E was failing to abort the mouse, but I fixed that. I''ve had the vague feeling that for months we have had a loadup where interrupts are occasionally dropped, and I''ve never been able to track it down.'

For the past couple of months, I "frequently" (i.e., about once every two or three hours) notice that a ↑D isn''t being executed, and after waiting a couple of seconds, will type it again at which point it has its desired effetc.'
'
I think Herb also experienced this (and told me so verbally).'
'
I''ve been looking for circumstances in which to reproduce this phenomenon, but it still appears to be evasive.'

I just fixed a bug that caused ↑E and ↑D to sometimes be taken under the mouse even when the mouse was completely idle. This would make it look like the interrupt got lost.'
