Subject: Want general facility for wildcarded filenames

Would like TEdit to do something reasonable when given a wildcarded filename to Get or Include, where "something reasonable" means something like putting up a menu of files matching the wildcard, and then doing the operation on whichever one you select from the menu, or else just doing the op if there is only one file which matches the wildcard.'

Seems like that could be part of a wider facility.'
'
In fact, Tayloe, you could probably do it yourself by keying off the FILE NOT FOUND error with ERRORTYPELST to see if it had a * in it, and if so, to MENU with FILDIR.'
'
Would be a nice package for <LispUsers>.'
