Subject: Standalone DLions should hear themselves

Subject': Disabling network initialization'
Since my lone dandelion is not fortunate enough to have time, name, and pup translation servers to talk to during initialization, Interlisp takes a great deal of time looking for someone to talk to before giving up. Can I disable this?'

DLions can''t talk to themselves. It should be an AR to make it so at the low-level '
(for LispSupport; I''d guess': S/s': Os/NS Protocols, Impact': Moderate, Frequency': Everytime, Difficulty': Easy, Priority': Hopefully, attn': vanMelle).'

Indeed, this is high on my queue to fix (that Dlion''s don''t hear themselves; the low-level software should fake it). System/Subsystem should be Communications/Low-level ether, a subsystem category I don''t see on the old list I have, but which ought to exist. This problem is not specific to either Pup or NS, but rather to the 10mb ethernet driver code. The system files in this category are LLETHER and 10MBDRIVER. '
