'
Inspecting a function in the display frame window now calls the editor in the broken process. Thus variables evaluated in the editor will be in the broken process. Bill': This still has TTYIN problem.'
'
The windows associated with a break window are now attached to it via ATTACHWINDOW. This officially makes ATTACHEDWINDOW a system file.'
'
Closing a break window now only aborts the associated process if it was in tty wait and the closed window was the tty window. This should stop many unwanted aborting. '

'
Eric Schoen from Schlumberger-Doll is interested in obtaining a patch which corrects the bug encountered when calling Dedit from the inspector.'
'
Would it be possible to create a patch that could be loaded on top of Fugue6?'
'
Thanks'

Is there any way I could get AR 162''s fix? (Edit from break in stack of broken processes).'

When I made that change I also changed to attached window format so there is no easy patch. I believe they could run with new versions of WBREAK and ATTACHEDWINDOW. (They may also need the new INSPECT.)'

If you could tell me which files you think need to be loaded and where they are located, I will try and load them in Fugue 6 and see what happens.'
'
Thank you for your assistance,'

This does not have an easy patch -- a number of different functions were touched. If you really want this fix, you have two choices':'
'
1) load the following files':'
{phylum}<lispcore>sources>wbreak.dcom'
{phylum}<lispcore>sources>attachedwindow.dcom'
(possibly {phylum}<lispcore>sources>inspect.dcom)'
'
2) use the sysout on {phylum}<lispcore>next>. Of course, this sysout changes frequently, and new bugs are introduced.'
'
Tell us if you have any problems.'
