TEdit does not mark itself dirty the first time a file is invoked.  That is':  If you do (TEDIT) then type some characters in the TEdit window, you can Quit without saving and TEdit will not complain.  This differes from the case where you do (TEDIT File) and TEdit will complain if you quit without saving any changes.'
