Enclosed is an invoice for a copyright fee from the Cambridge University Press for permission to reprint articles in our Documentation Graphics course notes. We included three papers from Text Processing and Document Manipulation: Proceedings of the International Conference, University of Nottingham, April 14—16, 1986.

There are no instructions on copyright fee payment in the instructions I have received. I assumed that ACM and IEEE publications would not involve any fee since they both co-sponsor the conference and tutorials. However, I was reluctant to include these papers from the Nottingham conference without permission.

Please pay only for the three papers (the invoice references four, but we chose not to include the Beach paper): Bigelow & Holmes ±88, Joloboff ±119, and Reid ±52 for a total of ±259.
