Maxine Brown introduced me to the notion of an Education column in Computer Graphics and your interest in writing a regular short column.

I would be pleased to include such a column in the newsletter. We might meet at SIGGRAPH'86 in Dallas to discuss more general issues. I shall be teaching Course 29: Documentation Graphics on Tuesday. Otherwise, I shall be in Dallas from Friday evening August 15 until Saturday August 23 and staying at the Hyatt.

There are four newsletter issues yearly plus the conference issue in July/August. The next deadline is September 1 for issue 20(5). I hope to be changing the other deadlines, so wait for the approval announcement.
