From: Richard J. Beach, Editor-in-chief To: Tom Defanti, SIGGRAPH Video Review Editor Date: December 31, 1986 Subject: Publishing SVR tables of contents === Thanks for your efforts in supplying me with copies of issues 24 and 25 of the SIGGRAPH Video Review. I quickly received two copies, one from the video house directly, and the other through the generous efforts of Maxine Brown. Unfortunately, I failed to obtain satisfactory halftones from the videotapes. The fault is with our frame grabber that insists on 512x512 pixels thereby clipping off the left and right margins. We may have a work around, but I'm still trying. In the meantime, what additional information do we possess to publish in Computer Graphics with the tables of contents for issues of the SIGGRAPH Video Review? Do we get abstracts for each tape? Do we collect credit information that we could publish? If this information is available, I'd like to publish it in the next issue with copy due February 1 (at the exec board meeting in San Francisco). If the information is available for past issues of the SIGGRAPH Video Review, perhaps we can publish retrospective tables of contents. If the information is not available, please speculate as to how it might be collected for publication.
