- The tape density is 1600 BPI.
- The block size is 1024 bytes.
- There is 2 files on the tape. Both are the same Drill File in Excellon MkIII format.
The first one is 20 blocks long and in coded in ASCII.
The second one is 26 blocks long and in coded in EIA.
(You can use the more convenient one)
- The maximum number of holes drilled by a bit is 1840.
-If you drill 5 mills over the finished hole size here are the diameters:
Tool number 1: one bit of 21 mils to drill 424 holes
Tool number 2: one bit of 30 mils to drill 41 holes
Tool number 3: one bit of 40 mils to drill 382 holes
Tool number 4: one bit of 45 mils to drill 1840 holes
Tool number 5: one bit of 149 mils to drill 10 holes
