Both assume that the page size is 5.5" by8.5". To get an idea of how a document printedTwo-Up would look, take two pieces of paper andhold them side-by-side. Two-Up will print the twopages as one page in landscape mode. One pagewill appear on the left side, and the other on theright. Signature assumes that there are four or amultiple of four two-up pages that, when folded inhalf horizontally, become a booklet having theproper page numbers attached to each folded side. Two-up is used to print a proofreaders copy of adocument that will eventually be printed in Signatureform. Each right and left page will be numberedsequentially, as if the document were not to befolded in half horizontally.PROCEDUREBefore a document can be created in Signature orTwo-up mode, the margins of the document must bechanged to reflect the landscape page boundaries. The maximum length of the text for each side of thelandscaped page is 5-1/4". Additionally, theDivision Style must be changed so that pagenumbers are positioned correctly.
