MAIL Watcher Written by Jeffrey S. Shulman Last update: 7-Apr-83 10:33 The purpose of this package is to replace the UTILPROCS file MAILWATCHPROC with a new proc called MYMAILWATCHPROC. It is meant to be used in the same way (as a process) but instead of just telling you that you have mail or not, it has a picture of a mailbox with a flag that goes up when you have mail. It will automatically check for mail every five minutes for USERNAME. It calls MAILCHECK to do the actual checking. Like the function MAILWATCHER if USERNAME has property MAILBOX, value (HOST ANYFLG), the indicated host and flag are given to MAILCHECK. You can specifically check for mail by bugging the mail window. Only if you explicitly bug the mail window will you be told you have no new mail.
