Date: 30 Jul 85 04:16 PDT From: masinter.pa Subject: looking up CommonLisp definitions To: LispCore^ cc: DeKleer, Trigg, Gregor, Interloops^ On {ERIS}LIBRARY>CMLHELP is a little package that helps if you're working on CommonLisp functions; its like a WHEREIS for CommonLisp. Load it in, and CMLSHOW(NAME) will pop up a window with the CMU Spice-Lisp definition(s) of that name. CMLSHOW(NAME ALLFILE) will show the whole source file in context. This is pretty crude, but its enough to find your way around the sources. MAKECMLINDEX(hashfilename pattern) is used to create the hashfile {ERIS}Current>CML.HASH following {ERIS}CUrrent>*.SLISP.
