Limitations - READ ME FIRST !
The puchase contract of Dracula that we signed implies that only one instance of the program can be running at any time, and the Unix shell that runs Dracula enforces that (stupid) rule.
ChipNDale Command
The Dracula command is in the space-P menu.
Select a Cell then click "Dracula". The CIF file will be generated under the name cellName.cif, and sent over to a Unix host running Dracula (you get a message on the TerminalIO viewer giving you the local and remote names). After completion the CIF errors file and the log file of the job are sent back to your machine (message again) and the error file is converted to CD while the log file is open in a Tioga viewer.
Command tool command Syntax
EcadOps is a Command tool command:
EcadOps TopLevelCellName rulesFileName
which executes Dracula on the Vax in your ecad directory. The files CIFfileName.SUM and CIFfileName.drcout are the files created by the Dracula program (see its Doc) under drcout.cif and DRCOUT.SUM. The file CIFfileName.SUM is automatically open on your screen when the drc is finished.
If You submit a job while an other user already uses Dracula, your Job will wait for the completion of the other job, and you will get a warning message on your screen. Try to negociate with the other(s) uer(s) to avoid too many conflicts anyway...If you submit more than one job at once yourself, the extra jobs will not be submitted. Wait for the preceding fob to finish before...
