Limitations - READ ME FIRST !
The puchase contract of Dracula that we signed implies that only one instance of the program can be running at any time, and the Unix shell that runs Dracula enforces that (stupid) rule.
ChipNDale Command
The Dracula command is in the space-K menu.
Select a Cell then click "Dracula". The CIF file will be generated under the name cellName.cif, and sent over to a Unix host running Dracula. After completion the log file of the job is parsed and summarized in the TerminalIO viewer and the error file (if any) is converted to CD.
If you job is waiting and you want to cancel it you can use the Abort Dracula cmd but:
Aborting Dracula while any of the Dracula modules are actually running screws up the protection file (Ha Ha !!!!) and you have to call the system administator to reshape the whole thing if he/she can, if not somebody has to call Ecad to ask for a new protection file & convince them that we are in trouble and not trying to bypass protection (which has been no problem till now).
CommandTool Command
DraculaDRC designName [rules]
opens a viewer on the design if not already present.
designName must contain exactly one top level instance (and the object must be named)
 rules default to VTI
